Python Engineer

Role: Python Engineer (Automation) - Only on W2

Location: Onsite-San Jose, CA (3-4 DAYS ONSITE)

Duration: 1-year-long project

Rate: $55 - $60/hr on W2

• 5+ or more years of experience working as a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field
• Hands-on programming experience with Python and/or Golang
• Experience with System Software Dev Automation
• - Comfortable with reading Functional and Design Specifications to come up with UT/IT testcases.
• - Comfortable with reading C / C++ / Golang code to come up UT/IT testcases.
• - Experience with working on multi-node / distributed systems.
• - Experience with Life-cycle management such as Image Installation, Upgrades, Recovery etc for distributed systems.
• Experience with triaging Platform Software, Linux Packages, Linux Networking etc
• Experience with analyzing system logs, process coredumps etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with pytest or ginkgo framework a plus
• Experience with C / C++ development a plus.
• Experience with CVEs and Ubuntu package management a plus
