This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s). We are looking to initially appoint one successful candidate.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 01/11/2026.

The EMR Program is a consumer-centred program that supports healthcare providers to perform their roles enabling safety and quality to be at the heart of care for every consumer. The EMR Program has been established to digitally transform WA Health’s clinical information management systems by delivering a statewide EMR solution for WA Health. The EMR Program will incorporate changes to technology, business processes and culture. It will take advantage of innovations in digital health care to improve patient safety and quality of care for the Western Australian community regardless of their location.
The EMR Program Comprises Several Projects Including
- Clinical transformation
- Technical and infrastructure delivery
- Procurement and contract management
- Workforce and change
- Implementation planning
- Business, project, and program operations.
About The Role
The Business Analyst defines and documents current and future business processes, procedures and rules to support the EMR Program.
The position undertakes complex analysis of a range of business, ICT and operational issues to assist decision making in relation to EMR Program and project development; whilst building, creating and maintaining process and data models to enhance business capability.
The EMR Program has several streams of work and active projects. A Business Analyst may provide support to more than one project or stream of activity.
The role provides an opportunity to support the state-wide transformation of WA Health.
