Who We Are Looking For
A highly collaborative and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer who thrives in a team-driven environment and communicates effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your work
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of services using SRE best practices (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets)
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Assist in security hardening and compliance initiatives (IAM policies, network access control, secrets management)
- Champion DevOps and SRE culture across engineering teams, promoting automation, observability, and reliability
Basic requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Proven expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM, Glue, Lambda, etc)
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash or Python)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- Resourceful self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a startup
- Highly organised, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and listening skills — verbal, written
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions)
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments
- Background in incident management and observability tooling
- Ansible experience
