AI Lead – Cygnus Consulting| Sydney or Melbourne | Hybrid
Cygnus Consulting is an AI-first IT services company helping clients harness the power of data and intelligent platforms. We are looking for an AI Lead who can bridge AI innovation with application design and development and drive end-to-end delivery.
📍 Location: Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid)
💼 Type: Full-time
💰 Salary: A$150,000–A$180,000 base (depending on experience and enthusisam) + performance bonus
🧑💻 Experience: 7–10 years in AI/ML & product development
🛂 Work rights: Australian PR or Citizen only
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of AI-powered products and solutions
- Translate client needs into product roadmaps, prototypes, and MVPs
- Combine AI/ML expertise with product thinking to deliver real business value
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, UX)
- Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and identify new product opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in AI/ML (LLMs, GenAI, data platforms, etc.)
- Strong background in product development and delivery (roadmapping, lifecycle, scaling)
- Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building AI-driven products
