3-Month initial contract - Network Specialist – Immediate Start

We are partnering with a leading Australian enterprise business with offices across the East Coast. They are undertaking a series of infrastructure projects to modernise their IT ecosystem and require an experienced Network Specialist to join the team.

This initial 3-month contract will focus on uplifting Wi-Fi performance, improving connectivity, and de-risking a major infrastructure project. The role is hands-on, autonomous, and will deliver immediate impact across key office locations.

What you’ll do:

• Configure and optimise Cisco & Juniper routers/switches.
• Lead Wi-Fi improvements to ensure seamless coverage across offices.
• Upgrade office backbone connectivity to 1GB links.
• Travel to Australian office sites to deliver network upgrades hands-on.
• Provide clear documentation and effective knowledge transfer to internal IT.

What I’m looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in Cisco / Juniper networking (routers & switches).
• Proven experience improving Wi-Fi performance in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, and wireless.
• Willingness to travel domestically to multiple office locations (Mostly Melbourne).
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to deliver outcomes independently.
