Finmatics is a fast-growing software as a service (SaaS) company that provides artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to thousands of businesses of all sizes. Our mission is to automate financial & accounting processes in order to eliminate unnecessary manual tasks.


We are seeking an experienced and talented Staff Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will work on a variety of projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch software solutions.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

  • Define technology roadmaps and best practices for full-stack development.

  • Implement responsive user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred) and optimize backend services for performance and security.

  • Ensure clean, maintainable code using Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.

  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and feature enhancements.

  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives..



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

  • Strong expertise in full-stack development with proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.

  • Experience with at least one strongly-typed language: Golang, Java, or Kotlin.

  • Solid understanding of web development concepts, best practices, and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, or Svelte).

  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.


Nice to Have



  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL).

  • Background in microservices architecture.

  • Understanding of modern data science principles and tools.
