Data Scientist (w/m/d)

We are currently recruiting for a strategically important Data Science position at a leading international technology company based in Salzburg.

This company ranks among the global top players in its industry and is actively advancing its digitalization and AI roadmap as a key pillar of its corporate innovation strategy.

Your Responsibilities:

• Establish and further develop global data science and AI capabilities
• Take ownership of scalable ML solutions, e.g., in the area of demand forecasting
• Develop virtual service assistants (LLMs) for customer support
• Design AI-powered dialog systems with SAP integration (e.g., via RAG & Conversational AI)
• Translate complex models into business-relevant strategies for Sales, Planning & Controlling
• Integrate insights into operational decision-making using SAC / BI tools

Your Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience applying machine learning to solve real-world business problems
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage
• Valid work permit for Austria
• Hands-on mentality, team spirit, drive to get things done, and strong communication skills
• Solid knowledge of Python and SQL, plus experience with SAP data integration
• Practical experience with Big Data / ML pipelines (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Expertise in MLOps & orchestration tools (MLflow, Airflow, Azure ML)

Starting from €4,000 gross per month. Overpayment is possible depending on your experience and qualifications
