We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager for Roadside System (RRS) Implementation to oversee the successful rollout of roadside systems within our large-scale international projects. In this role, you will combine project management expertise with strong technical understanding to ensure seamless coordination and execution of installations.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site commissioning and decommissioning of roadside systems.
- Manage and align activities between Project Management, Development, System Engineering, commissioning engineers, and delivery partners.
- Oversee and guide installation teams, ensuring work is delivered on time and according to quality standards.
- Apply solid engineering knowledge to understand how electronic and roadside systems integrate.
- Drive technical problem-solving and identify solutions for specific roadside installation challenges.
- Lead, motivate, and support diverse technical teams during implementation.
- Act as a central communication hub between stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
- No direct budget responsibility, but accountable for resource coordination and project delivery.
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in roadside or infrastructure system implementation.
- Practical background in on-site installations and coordination of technical teams.
- Strong understanding of roadside technologies and related components.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (SAFe would be an advantage) and ability to communicate effectively with development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
- Leadership qualities: able to manage, guide, and motivate people across functions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.
- Languages: English (mandatory); German or Spanish would be an advantage.
