As our Director/Head of Sales for Logistics & Maritime Accounts, you'll spearhead our European expansion at a pivotal moment - we've digitized over $1 billion in shipments and are scaling rapidly across the $20 trillion global trade market.
The Opportunity
The maritime and logistics industries are undergoing massive digital transformation. Our platform, Secro Core, delivers what carriers, freight forwarders, traders, and financial institutions desperately need: real-time, legally-binding digital documentation that integrates seamlessly with existing systems while reducing risk and unlocking capital.
With backing from Assembly Ventures, Sway Ventures, Signal Group, Wilhelmsen, and other strategic maritime investors, plus our new EMEA commercial team in Geneva, you'll have everything needed to capture this enormous market opportunity.
What You'll Own:
Revenue Generation
- Drive revenue growth with a focus on enterprise accounts
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Build a predictable pipeline that scales from €5M to €25M+ within 24 months
Market Development
- Build and execute a multi-million-dollar sales strategy targeting maritime carriers, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, 3PLs, and port operators across Europe
- Identify and penetrate new market segments within the €500+ billion European logistics sectors
- Partner with C-suite executives to position Secro as the industry standard for digital trade documentation
What Makes You Perfect for This Role:
Essential Experience
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at major European shipping lines, logistics providers, ship owners, 3PLs, 4PLs
- 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales with 3+ years in maritime, logistics, supply chain tech, or trade finance
- Proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals worth €250K+
- Demonstrable history of substantially growing a sales pipeline quota of at least €5MM+
- Deep understanding of international trade workflows, documentation, and pain points
- Experience selling SaaS platforms that integrate with enterprise systems (ERPs, TMS)
Domain Expertise
- Understanding of most common logistics and cross-border trade operational and documentary processes
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MLETR, Electronic Transactions Acts)
- Ability to articulate complex technology in business terms
Leadership Qualities
- Entrepreneurial mindset - you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
