Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join their on-site team. This professional will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytics, big data, and BI solutions to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. The expert will design, implement, and optimise analytical models, visualisations, and reporting processes, while ensuring ethical use and compliance with legal and security standards.

Required Skills &Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 4 years of relevant education (Master’s degree or equivalent) after secondary school.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in data science, business intelligence, or advanced analytics.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical models and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency with BI and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos).
• Proven ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making and value creation.
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems and advanced analytics methodologies.
• Ability to set and monitor KPIs, interpret business data, and align outputs with organisational goals.
  
  

Additional Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of IBM Cloud Pack for Data.
• Experience with BIGSQL Data Modelling Language and SQL.
• Cognos knowledge (both as user and administrator).
• Experience with advanced analytics libraries (e.g.,scikit-learn, ELKI).
• Understanding of the institution’s challenges in adopting big data and advanced Analytics.
