Teleste's Broadband Networks business unit delivers products, solutions, and advanced services to broadband network operators. As the European market leader in cable access network products and a key global provider of TV delivery platforms, we’re expanding rapidly in North America.
Our portfolio empowers operators to provide top-tier broadband and TV services while minimizing network ownership costs and maintaining flexibility for future tech evolution. About The Role
As a Software Developer, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Developing scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborating closely with embedded developers, and product owners.
- Managing data ingestion, transformation, and real-time event processing pipelines.
- Supporting remote diagnostics, telemetry, with AI-enhanced logic.
- Ensuring system robustness, error handling, logging, and maintainability.
- Participating in software design, architecture reviews, and performance tuning.
Required Qualifications
Core Skills
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, Node.js depending on your stack.
- Solid experience in backend development: RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases.
- Understanding of network protocols or device management workflows (e.g., MQTT, SNMP, gRPC).
- Familiarity with data processing pipelines, event handling, or message queues (e.g., Kafka).
- Experience with cybersecurity related software implementation.
- Experience in integrating machine learning models and/or AI-enabled features.
- Understanding and knowledge of C/C++ for firmware or embedded systems.
- Understanding of cloud-based deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of broadband infrastructure systems or telecom-related devices.
