We are on a mission to transform buying and selling in one of the oldest industries of the modern world with seamless and intuitive digital solutions. Our technologies increase liquidity, accelerate transactions, reduce scrapping rates and enhance buying convenience for hundreds of steel and metal distributors across Europe.
We are a lean team of young, international, and passionate talents gearing up for the next phase of growth. We are looking for an outstanding individual who wants to join an exciting early stage start-up.
You care deeply about product quality and user experience – placing customers at the center of your work, and letting that empathy guide your decisions. In this position, you will:
- Build end-to-end automations across sales and procurement workflows
- Develop innovative front- and backend services using modern technologies
- Create and maintain scalable data processing pipelines
- Produce clean, reusable, and well-documented code, and contribute to code reviews to uphold high development standards
- Contribute to product design sessions, turning user needs into impactful features
- Join technical debates and help shape architectural choices within the engineering team
- Collaborate in an agile, multidisciplinary team that values shared ownership and autonomy
- Solid background in full-stack development, delivering reliable, testable, and reusable code, with strong expertise in Python and JavaScript
- Hands-on professional experience with frameworks such as FastAPI and ReactJS
- Proven track record in building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Skilled in designing efficient and scalable database architectures
- Practical knowledge of containerization and DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and their serverless services (e.g. AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)
- Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architectures
- Exposure to MLOps practices is considered a plus
- Experience integrating identity and authentication solutions (Auth0, Okta, OpenID Connect)
- Background in agile delivery methods such as Scrum
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mathematics
- Commitment to high coding standards, with knowledge of design patterns, TDD, clean code principles, and strong debugging skills
- Strong grasp of modern software development practices and infrastructure and their impact on customer value
- Self-driven, able to deliver high-quality results on time
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Clear communicator, confident in both written and spoken contexts, able to present findings and ideas effectively to stakeholders
- Professional proficiency in English
- Ownership of projects with a focus on outcomes rather than time-tracking
