Daily rate contract role - Cork - hybrid - 3 days on-site

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Delivery Project Manager to lead and drive the successful delivery of software projects within a fast-paced environment. The role requires a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure delivery against scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

This is a daily rate contract position and will suit an individual who thrives in dynamic, outcome-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Apply Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) to drive effective delivery.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies impacting delivery.
• Track project progress and provide transparent reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager within software delivery.
• Strong track record in Agile project management, with hands-on experience running Agile teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing third-party vendors or distributed teams (preferred).
• Ability to balance structure with agility, adapting to the client’s evolving needs.
• Professional certifications (e.g., AgilePM, Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2) desirable but not essential.
