Senior Software Engineer

I'm working with a financial services client of mine, and they're looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer to come in and join their team. This role will be a day rate contract (12 months), with a lucrative rate.

What You Bring to the Table

• 5+ years of professional experience in software design and development
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Snowflake and Oracle databases
• Solid foundation in Java-based object-oriented programming
• Practical experience working with Apache Spark (using Java or Scala), ideally within AWS EMR environments
• Strong familiarity with AWS
• Demonstrated ability to architect and build scalable, reliable ETL pipelines
• Background in DevOps workflows and tools like Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Docker, with experience in CI/CD automation
