My client, a fast-growing and incredibly well-funded Irish tech company with over €3M raised and backing from public bodies and private hedge funds, is seeking their first hire in Ireland. This is a rare opportunity to join as a Founding Data Scientist / AI Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their platform.

In this position, you will take ownership of designing and optimizing LLM-powered features and AI Agents, leading the full machine learning lifecycle from model training and deployment to the orchestration of Copilots and Autonomous Agents. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive the company forward. The company utilises the most cutting-edge technologies, such as AWS Sagemaker, Bedrock, Lambda, LLMs, AI, Python and more.

The role offers the chance to build from the ground up with a clear pathway into leadership as the business scales. It is remote-first within Ireland, with occasional meet-ups in Dublin once the office is established, and comes with stock options so you can truly share in the company’s success.

Skills/Experience:

• 5 + years of experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong experience with traditional Machine Learning
• Strong experience with AWS

Salary:

€85,000 – €100,000 + Remote role in Ireland + STOCKS and more!
