Full Stack Engineer

Central London (Fully remote option)

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and scaling our fintech platform. Reporting directly to the CTO and Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for building robust, scalable applications that support the company's mission.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • Leverage AWS and serverless technologies to optimise infrastructure and deployments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in development and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and optimise system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and security of the platform.


Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React.js
  • Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
  • Infrastructure: AWS, AWS Lambda
  • Architecture: Microservices


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and designing scalable systems.
