📊 Your Day-to-day Activities
- Manage strategic planning and execution of R&D projects, coordinating with project teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in line with organizational objectives and strategic importance;
- Evaluate technical feasibility and financial viability of individual projects in collaboration with relevant R&D teams, considering the current resources, technology, and expertise within the organization;
- Manage project budget, perform cost evaluations and ensure efficient and effective use of resources in line with budget constraints and project timelines;
- Identify potential risks associated with individual projects, implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success;
- Manage the entire project life cycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and setting timelines to provide alignment and effective achievement of established objectives;
- Manage and coordinate external partnerships with universities, research institutions, suppliers, and industry partners, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and addressing potential issues;
- Monitor project progress, communicating status to senior management and providing comprehensive reports with actionable insights and recommendations;
- Develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards and quality guidelines;
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate efficiency, effectiveness, identify areas for improvement and provide reports with recommendations to senior management for decision making;
- Previous experience in a Project Manager/Product Development role, managing complex projects (5 years circa)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or PMP/PMI Certification will be considered a definite plus
- Experience in Food industry considered a plus
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Available to work in Turin (Settimo Torinese)
