Human Resources Officer

Department: HR& Admin

Responsibilities

HR function:

  • Providing support in various HR linked fields.
  • General support related to the implementation of HR strategies, policies in order to ensure effective daily operational work of the HR.
  • Participate in the development of relevant HR rules and regulations, as well as integrated management.
  • Responsible for recruitment and candidate pre-selection, and employee onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Management of Luxembourg immigration aspects, for new employee and ongoing support.
  • Active participation in training, performance management, and employee relationship management.
  • Participate in the development of human resource management information systems.
  • Supervising the absence management (annual leave, sickness, maternity/paternity leave, etc.).
  • Supervising the employee files management and update the employee information.
  • Handling inbound and outbound documents and emails about HR daily.
  • Be one the point of contact for the different local authorities as Centre Commun de la Sécurité Sociale, ADEM, Inspection du Travail et Mines, Ministry of immigration, etc.
  • Support in employee benefits program designing.
  • Provide advice on decision support through HR metrics.
  • Assist with internal and external HR matters.

Administrative function:

  • Provide reporting to Management and look after administrative tasks.
  • Backup for some administration tasks when needed.
  • In addition to these duties, the Employee may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties within his/her capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the company’s business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
  • 2+ years of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Strong business English, good knowledge of Chinese/French is an asset.
  • Good with computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Good command of HR skills and knowledge of the local labor laws and regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Sense of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Motivated, good at providing innovative ideas, and comfortable working under pressure.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Reliable, accountable, proactive, and hardworking individual.
