What role will you play?
In this first-line role, you will support the implementation and development of the risk strategy for the public markets business in Macquarie Asset Management, covering Equities and Multi-Asset, Fixed Income, and Leveraged Credit. Based in Luxembourg, you will oversee regional non-financial risk activities for the European entities, including risk and control support for the Luxembourg entity. You will provide risk guidance on processes, controls, new products, and opportunities, while managing a broad array of Risk Management Framework responsibilities across the region. These include board and executive management reporting, risk and control self-assessments, issue and incident management, new product and product variation approvals, control oversight and assurance, monitoring and reporting against risk appetite, and helping to formulate the global risk strategy.
What You Offer
- 7+ years of experience within the financial services industry (e.g., operational risk, internal or external audit, risk management).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and leverage relationships across a global business.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to balance commercial issues within a risk framework.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to work autonomously and within teams across a global organisation.
- High aptitude to acquire knowledge and learn new skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, drive, commitment, and resilience.
- Knowledge of French and German is an advantage.
