Cyber Security Specialist

Role: Cyber Security Specialist - Assurance, Alerting and Incident Management

Location: Rotterdam HQ, 2 days p/w

Compensation: Up to €90,000

Industry: Chemical Manufacturing

Reporting to: Chief Information Security Officer

Lawrence Harvey are partnered with a powerhouse within the Chemical Manufacturing space. They operate within 40+ countries across 120 locations. This business provide expert solutions to a multitude of customers within the Life Sciences Sector.

You will be reporting directly to the CISO, working alongside a lean-team of Cyber Security specialists, whilst contributing towards strategy, roadmap and program management.

The Role:

• Acting as a Regional Cyber Incident Lead for Europe. Lead Incident Response to Security alerts and Incidents with SOC and internal teams
• Perform regular security assessments, tracking remediation with control owners and ensure compliance to relevant frameworks
• Identify and prioritize risks, develop remediation plans and deliver clear reports with metrics and KPI's for stakeholders
• Assess security risks of technology changes, ensure compliance with change policies and review impacts

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a Cyber Security role, focused on Security Assurance, Incident Response/Management
• Excellent communication skills, and strong experience within Stakeholder Management
• Proactive team player that is willing to be proactive and bring ideas to the tabel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environments
• Interested in learning and growing with the ongoing Security Maturity journey

Travel:

• Ideally travelling into the Rotterdam HQ, twice a week

Salary:

• Up to €90,000 total compensation

Interview Process:

• Stage 1: A technical conversation with two team members
• Stage 2: Meeting with the CISO and Regional IT Director
• Stage 3: HR Interview
