Senior Software Engineer (Freelance – Golang)

We’re hiring a long-term freelance Senior Software Engineer to tackle complex API challenges using Golang. You’ll work alongside a small, agile team focused on data, ML, and energy optimisation across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust APIs in Golang
• Solve backend challenges related to data and ML pipelines
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of services
• Collaborate across teams to integrate systems

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering
• Deep Golang expertise
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Self-driven, collaborative, and feedback-friendly
• Based in Stockholm or able to work from our Stockholm office

Nice to Have

• GCP experience

Contract Details

• Freelance cotnract on a fulltime basis (150 hours a month)
• Duration: At least 6 months, ideally 12 months+
• On-site requirements: 3-4 days a week on site required in central Stockholm
