We are looking for a Senior Associate with strong expertise in data protection and compliance matters to join our dynamic and growing team. This role offers direct client exposure, leadership opportunities, and the chance to work on cross-border projects with international legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Bar in Turkey,
• 4–5 years of solid professional experience in data protection, preferably in a reputable law firm or a global corporate group,
• Proven track record in compliance projects, audits, cross-border data transfer processes, preparation of privacy documents (policies, consents, undertakings, BCR/SSC, etc.),
• Experience in providing day-to-day legal advisory services,
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and projects,
• Willingness to take initiative, lead and manage processes, while being eager to learn and grow,
• Advanced command of written and spoken English is a must,
• Knowledge of employment law, regulatory frameworks and compliance is a strong plus,
• Some prior experience in litigation is expected, as the role will also involve responsibility for certain dispute processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting compliance and data protection projects for both Turkish and multinational clients,
• Advising clients on a day-to-day basis on regulatory, privacy and compliance issues,
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation such as privacy policies, consents, undertakings, contracts and compliance reports,
• Attending client meetings and acting as a direct point of contact,
• Following up on global and local legal/regulatory developments and preparing legal updates,
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and global legal professionals on multi-jurisdictional projects,
• Supporting and coordinating dispute/litigation processes when required.
