Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Web & Mobile Cybersecurity Intern who has a keen interest in securing digital applications and possesses practical coding skills, especially in creating web scraping tools for cybersecurity analyses. The intern will work closely with our cybersecurity experts, supporting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, automated security monitoring for both web and mobile applications, and conducting research on cybersecurity topics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web and mobile applications.
• Develop web scraping scripts to gather data for security analysis and threat intelligence.
• Conduct research on assigned cybersecurity topics and present findings.
• Support security audits and assessments to identify potential security risks.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to enhance application security posture.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports highlighting security issues and remediation strategies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including OWASP Top 10.
• Experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, particularly web scraping frameworks such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, etc.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application architecture and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience or coursework in cybersecurity or ethical hacking.
• Knowledge of penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of REST APIs and web services security.
