Summer Internship - App Developer

Aviant delivers food and medicine to gardens using drones. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, Aviant has launched three home delivery bases, covered tens of thousands of kilometers and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. We will now launch our fourth base, which will reach nearly 100,000 people. This summer we are looking for talented developers to make the launch a success!

Your responsibilities will include either of the following, depending on your skills:

• Frontend development (React Native / Expo)
• Backend development (python / Django)
• Design
• Internal operations software (python / Django)
  
  

Ideal candidate

Personal:

• Top 5% among your peers
• Likes to work a lot
• Motivated by end customers
• Uses LLM coding tools productively
  
  

CV:

• Impressive side-project experience
• Studies something related (computer science, informatics, design)
  
  

Practical:

• Studying in Trondheim or Oslo
• Wants to work part-time before and after the summer

As a software developer at Aviant, your main responsibility will be building the customer-facing app or internal tooling that allows us to operate our drones effectively and safely. We are looking for resourceful students who are comfortable with responsibility.

• Is a 4th or 5th year student within Computer Science or a related field
• Has demonstrated the ability to work independently on challenging tasks
• Is skilled in software development
• Is interested in a startup environment
