Charterhouse are working with a Family Office based in Abu Dhabi that is looking to recruit an experienced Product Designer (UI/UX) to join their AI Investment Technology Division. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to creating cutting-edge digital platforms within a private, innovation-led environment.

The Product Designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface design across a suite of advanced digital products, including AI-driven financial platforms. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional team, the Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centric designs for both web and native mobile applications.

Key responsibilities of the role include developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, maintaining a robust design system, and conducting user research to inform and validate design decisions. The role also involves close collaboration with the CTO, developers and product managers to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.

The Designer will also understand and work with current industry trends and best practices, and bring ideas and innovative thinking to the team’s design approach.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both web and mobile design is essential. The successful candidate will be proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and Axure, and have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards.

Design experience in the financial sector, particularly in designing trading or research systems, is highly desirable. A background in both agency and in-house design environments would be advantageous, as would familiarity with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or jQuery.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.
