Hays' client is a digital and technology consultancy based in Dubai. They deliver innovative solutions across the GCC, helping clients navigate the complex digital landscape and secure their future. They are now looking for a SOC Tier 1 Analyst to join their growing cybersecurity team and play a vital role in protecting their clients' digital assets.

Your new role

As a SOC Tier 1 Analyst, you will be at the forefront of the company's cybersecurity operations. You'll be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events and managing initial incident responses. You will work with SIEM platforms like QRadar, Splunk, and Sentinel to investigate potential threats and collaborate with your team to reduce false positives. A key part of your role will also be to support clients directly by managing communications during security incidents and contributing to regular reports and meetings. You will work on a shift basis as part of a high-impact team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in IT and cybersecurity fundamentals. You should have solid knowledge of major operating systems, computer networks, and firewalls, as well as hands-on experience with monitoring tools. Experience with email security (both cloud and on-premise) and familiarity with ITSM tools is also required. You must be a resident of the UAE.

Beyond technical skills, your proactive mindset and strong communication abilities will be crucial. You should be able to work well under pressure, have excellent attention to detail, and possess strong problem-solving skills. As you'll be working with a diverse, cross-functional team and communicating with clients, strong interpersonal and coordination skills are a must. Fluency in English is essential, and Arabic is a strong advantage.
