Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Coordination:
• Lead the day-to-day management of assigned construction and development projects. • Liaise directly with developers and clients to ensure alignment on project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, risks, and key deliverables.
Design Coordination:
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
• Facilitate design reviews and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on technical and aesthetic goals. • Manage design changes and ensure impacts on cost, schedule, and quality are assessed and approved.
Procurement Assistance:
• Support the procurement team in tender preparation, evaluation, and selection of vendors/subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing scopes of work, contract documents, and procurement schedules.
Subcontractor & Site Management:
• Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure quality and program compliance. • Conduct regular site inspections, review progress, and address issues or delays.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety, statutory, and environmental standards.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC):
• Establish and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Review and verify construction quality, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with consultants and regulatory bodies.
Value Engineering & Cost Control: • Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering without compromising design intent or performance.
• Work closely with quantity surveyors and cost consultants to monitor budget adherence.
Qualifications & Skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a project management role within a real estate development company.
• Proven experience working with developers and multidisciplinary design teams. • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and subcontractor management.
