Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in a rapidly expanding digital agency based in the heart of Nottingham? Do you want to be part of a team of experienced professionals who live and breathe digital, and are ready to push their technical expertise to the next level?

The Opportunity

Framework Design is looking for a Senior Developer to join its growing development team. This is a senior role for someone with proven experience delivering large-scale digital projects, who can bring both technical skill and leadership to the team. About the Role

Working across a variety of clients and sectors, from sports to gaming to national brands, you’ll have the chance to deliver high-profile digital products using the latest technologies. You’ll take ownership of full project lifecycles, from scoping and architecture through to build, deployment, and ongoing support. Alongside this, you’ll help to evolve our technical processes, shape coding standards, and guide the next generation of developers in the team.

What skills do you need to be considered for the role?

  • Excellent knowledge of PHP8 (procedural and object-oriented).
  • Strong experience with Laravel and/or Statamic.
  • Solid experience building headless systems (Next.js, Node.js, React or Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in HTML5 / CSS3 and modern JavaScript ES6+.
  • Understanding of Design Patterns and clean coding principles.
  • Experience working with APIs (both building and integrating).
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress (custom themes and plugins).
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSSGit workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket).

And some nice to have skills that would make you stand out

  • PHPUnit / automated testing experience.
  • Algolia / ElasticSearch / advanced search indexing.
  • Experience with Craft or Drupal CMS.
  • Shopify theme and app development.
  • DevOps knowledge (CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Forge, Vercel).

What we offer

  • City centre location.
  • Latest equipment and your choice of software.
  • A fun and energetic team who love to organise social events.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 28 days holiday plus Christmas office closure (2-3 days depending on the year) plus bank holidays.
  • Paid Sick Days.
  • Unlimited tea and coffee.
  • Continuous professional development including regular 1:1s, objective setting and encouragement to attend conferences and workshops.
  • Opportunity to shape a growing company.
  • Large office entertainment space including a flat-screen TV and PlayStation 5.
