Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and support large-scale LAN/WAN environments with a strong focus on Palo Alto security solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in advanced routing/switching protocols, network security, and firewall management.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design & Support: Design, implement, and maintain robust LAN/WAN infrastructures, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Firewall Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama management platform, GlobalProtect VPN, and Threat Prevention subscriptions.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor firewall logs, network traffic, and security events to promptly detect and respond to incidents.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network and firewall issues, including misconfigurations, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls, and best practices to meet compliance requirements.
- Device Deployment: Implement and maintain Cisco and Palo Alto devices, Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, and Arista switches.
- Access Control: Administer Network Access Control solutions such as Cisco ISE and Cisco Duo.
- Escalation Support: Act as the escalation point for network support engineers and provide Level II support.
Required Skills & Experience
- Overall Experience: 7–9 years in IT Operations with at least 4–5 years in Networking.
- Technical Expertise:
- OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, VRFs, multicast, DMVPN, VxLAN, BGP/EVPN, 802.1x, RADIUS
- Advanced routing and switching
- Deep understanding of LAN/WAN protocols and topologies
- Security Expertise: Proven experience with Palo Alto firewalls and related security platforms.
- Certifications (Preferred): Cisco CCNA, Palo Alto Networks Certification.
