** Job Purpose:

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle of investment products under Assets Under Management (AUM), including drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), driving the internal product approval process through the Product Committee, and ensuring seamless implementation and operational readiness of each product. This role acts as the central coordination point between front office, support functions, and external product providers to ensure a smooth and controlled investment offering within the Private Banking and Wealth Management division.


**Key Responsibilities:


1. Product Governance & SOP Management

  • Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all AUM investment products offered under Private Banking.
  • Ensure all investment product processes are fully aligned with internal governance, compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the custodian of product documentation including term sheets, offering memorandums, risk disclosures, and process flows.

2. Product Committee Coordination

  • Lead the preparation and submission of new product proposals to the Product Committee.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure all documentation, due diligence, and internal reviews are completed prior to approval.
  • Maintain a clear and auditable record of all product committee submissions, feedback, approvals, and follow-up actions.

3. Product Onboarding & Launch

  • Project manage the full onboarding process of approved investment products (mutual funds, structured notes, managed portfolios, etc.).
  • Oversee all steps including system setup, product code creation, risk classification, and client-facing documentation.
  • Coordinate with custodians, fund houses, and external product partners for KYC, account setup, and operational readiness.

4. Transaction Monitoring & Operational Oversight

  • Support daily operations related to AUM product subscriptions, redemptions, and valuations in coordination with back office.
  • Monitor transaction flows to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with agreed procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve any operational discrepancies or breaks in coordination with internal teams and service providers.

5. Reporting & Control

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all active products and their operational status.
  • Support the Head of Private Banking in product MIS reporting, audit readiness, and compliance reporting.
  • Regularly assess operational risk points within the AUM lifecycle and recommend process improvements.


** Qualifications & Experience:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or equivalent are a plus.

Experience:

  • 5 + years of experience in a middle office, investment product coordination, or private banking operations role.
  • Solid understanding of wealth management investment products, especially AUM-based solutions.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of investment governance frameworks and banking product approval cycles.
  • High level of precision, control, and documentation discipline.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across front office and support functions.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and relevant investment management platforms.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
