Position Overview:

Al Obaidani Stores is seeking a highly dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead the company’s marketing strategy and elevate its brand presence in Oman and across the GCC. With a strong customer base that includes VVIPs and top-tier Omani nationals, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in strengthening brand equity, enhancing customer loyalty, and driving innovative marketing campaigns.

This role requires a marketing leader with proven experience in Oman, excellent knowledge of retail branding, digital marketing, and customer engagement, along with a solid understanding of sales dynamics in fashion and apparel.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand prestige and market share.
  • Ensure Al Obaidani Stores is positioned as the top choice for premium Omani dishdasha.
  • Conduct market and consumer research with a focus on Omani and GCC high-end segments.
  • Establish partnerships and sponsorships that strengthen brand visibility with VVIPs and elite circles.

Marketing Campaigns & Promotions

  • Plan and implement creative marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and brand events.
  • Manage corporate communication, PR activities, and media relations to boost brand image.
  • Lead digital and social media initiatives to engage customers and promote new product lines.

Retail & Customer Experience

  • Work closely with retail teams to enhance in-store branding, customer journey, and merchandising.
  • Design loyalty and engagement programs tailored for high-value customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and adapt strategies to meet changing preferences.

Sales Support & Growth

  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing activities with sales objectives.
  • Support retail sales growth through targeted marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for new market segments and product diversification.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a marketing team capable of delivering innovative results.
  • Drive a culture of creativity, excellence, and customer focus.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and product development teams.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Oman (retail/fashion/apparel/FMCG sector preferred).
  • Proven success in brand building, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of Omani market trends, consumer behavior, and VVIP customer management.
  • Experience in digital marketing, PR, and corporate branding.
  • Sales background/experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • Arabic language skills preferred.
