We are looking for a self-motivated, initiative, and collaborative Lead UI/UX designer, who will be able to join our new project and lead the Discovery and transition to the Development phase. The project is a big enterprise application with a back office and a mobile client. We’re going to extend its functionality with SmartWatch (WatchOS) and CarPlay applications. You will be part of a cross-functional, cross-geo team of developers, test engineers, ui/ux designers, and architects who will create applications from scratch and integrate them with the back-office API.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer in a client-facing setup, designing applications within business objectives and technological constraints
- Advanced knowledge of design software
- Experience with prototyping tools
- Experience of working in modern collaborative environments
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment
- Substantial portfolio of varying projects in the field of Mobile and Web
- Experience with SmartWatch and CarPlay is highly beneficial
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- Working with complex design libraries and design documentation
- Collaborating in a cross-functional team with a variety of stakeholders across different business functions and levels (developers, customer representatives, strategists, QA, business analysts etc.)
- Experience in creating UX artifacts (User Journeys, User Flows, Personas)
- Experience of working with design systems
- Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS concepts that inform your following design and interaction decisions.
Start the Discovery phase with a small, core team of cross-functional experts to create lo-fi designs, user and technical requirements for 2 mobile applications: for SmartWatch (WatchOS) and CapPlay.
Leverage the existing design system used by the client
Create designs based on the existing design system. Work with the Architect, BA, and developers to groom and validate requirements
Consult and collaborate with internal and external partners on User Interface-related topics
Prototype potential new User Interface solutions
Partner with mobile developers to create friendly designs
Provide input to the design process and end-to-end technology innovation within the company
