Candidate is expected to be working on GPI Application as an Internal Kubernetes Platform Engineer with below high-level responsibilities:

Integrate 3rd party platforms, constructing CI/CD pipelines, for the Internal Kubernetes platform

Drive design and coordinate development of proof of concepts and prototypes

Work with Solution Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.

Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimized at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.

Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities.

Qualifications - External

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

IT Industry experience, Experience with Kubernetes solution design and implementation.

Strong Cloud platform knowledge: Kubernetes, Big Query, PostgreSQL, Cluster management, Kafka

Designing and Building Data Pipelines

Containerization: Helm, Docker, GKE

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible

Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, AppD.

Strong hands-on experience in Designing & implementing Cloud solutions using IKP / GKE.

Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.

Effective communication to collaborate and work with various teams.

Passion to automate repetitive tasks.

Bringing new ideas to improve the system reliability, performance, and efficiency.

Driving/Managing the incidents and resolving it.

Meticulous approach on monitoring, troubleshooting and system maintenance.

Adopting to new technologies.

Managing the changes, patching, upgrades, certificate renewals.
