Compliance officer M/F (fixed-term contract)

Halian is looking for a client, a leading service company in Luxembourg, a compliance officer for a determined contract:

Key Activities for this position:

• The Compliance Officer is responsible for the creation of and update of a centralised archive of all policies within the Company in order to ensure consistency of internal policies with external legislation, rules and agreements (legislative compliance audit scope);
• The Compliance Officer is responsible for the identification, assessment and prevention and monitoring of compliance risks;
• The Compliance Officer needs to verify whether a legal requirement is applicable (with support of the Legal/Regulatory/Compliance team), assess the impact from not meeting the requirements and provide recommendations on actions/changes on processes and procedures;
• The Compliance Officer is involved in the monitoring and updating of external regulatory environment.

Academic Profile:

• University Degree in Law (3 years after A Level), Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken skills (C1 level);

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Familiar with at least several of the following topics; Know your customer (KYC), Anti Money Laundering (AML), cybersecurity, due diligence
