We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Playwright / TypeScript) to strengthen our QA team, working on automation and validation for a high-traffic, consumer-facing web application.

We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer (Playwright / TypeScript) to strengthen our QA team, working on automation and validation for a high-traffic, consumer-facing web application.
What you’ll do
- Automate and maintain test suites for web app features, increasing automation coverage and ensuring a high pass rate.
- Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports; log and raise issues when defects are found.
- Support weekly release validations and provide manual testing for scenarios not covered by automation.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to analyze upcoming features and changes, create test plans, and document test cases in a Test Management Tool.
- Support ad hoc testing requests from product and engineering teams.
- Maintain and enhance the internal web testing framework (Playwright / TypeScript).
- 3+ years of web application testing experience.
- Solid understanding of web testing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Strong background with Playwright (or similar automation frameworks).
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience with test case management tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git and Jira.
- Additional scripting skills.
- Broader test automation experience across different platforms.
- knowledge of python in terms of api testing
- Communication skills, ability to work in a team
