We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer with strong experience in both Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS). You’ll play a key role in shaping the mobile experience from the ground up, working closely with product designers, backend engineers, and DevOps to deliver world-class performance, security, and usability.

This role is based in Sydney, working on a hybrid model, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Building and scaling mobile applications for a global high-traffic trading platform
• Designing and implementing elegant, performant UIs in Swift and Kotlin
• Architecting mobile solutions that can handle real-time data and user interaction at scale
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across product, backend, and design
• Ensuring security, reliability, and responsiveness of mobile platforms
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile releases
• Contributing to architectural decisions and mobile development best practices

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Swift – with production-level experience in both Android and iOS development
• Solid understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
• Experience building and scaling mobile apps in high-traffic or real-time environments
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and mobile-first backend integrations
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, app lifecycle, and memory management
• CI/CD experience (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
• Experience with version control (Git), code reviews, and agile methodologies

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose or SwiftUI
• Background in FinTech, trading platforms, or high-security applications
• Exposure to multi-platform mobile frameworks (e.g., Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter)
• Understanding of analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback loops
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or similar) and mobile backend integration
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
