Delivery Manager –Technologies (ANZ Region)

Overall Responsibilities

As the Delivery Manager –Technologies, you will lead Synechron’s ANZ division focused on the identification, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring successful project delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation. You will also act as the regional face of Synechron in key technology ecosystems and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of projects leveraging emerging technologies across the ANZ region.
• Identify, evaluate, and champion the adoption of new and disruptive technologies (AI, Blockchain, etc.).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate emerging technologies into client solutions.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement delivery strategies, roadmaps, and KPIs aligned with business goals.
• Ensure projects meet technical requirements, deadlines, and budget expectations.
• Build partnerships with technology communities, industry bodies, and key ecosystem players.
• Represent Synechron at industry events, client engagements, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of global and regional technology trends and competitive landscape.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within delivery teams.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of emerging technology trends (AI/ML, Blockchain, Cloud-native architectures, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
• Proficiency in evaluating technical feasibility and business value of new technologies.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills; ability to inspire high-performing teams.
• Strategic thinking combined with execution focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in software development or IT consulting.
• 5+ years in delivery management roles, preferably in emerging technology domains.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects using emerging technologies.
• Proven experience in building, scaling, and managing technical teams.
• Prior experience working in global delivery models or with ANZ clients preferred.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is required.
• Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Business Technology, or related discipline.
• Certifications in Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe), PMP, or relevant technology domains will be a plus.
