Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer specializing in service design and UX research. This is not a UI design role. The ideal candidate has diverse experience in startup environments, demonstrates strong pragmatism, excels in communication, and maintains a portfolio showcasing user needs discovery and product organization case studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct service design and UX research to inform product development decisions
• Provide pragmatic solutions aligned with the client’s career framework
• Collaborate closely with a small, distributed team to enhance user experiences across products
• Participate in product discussions and help translate research insights into actionable recommendations
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a focus on service design and UX research
• Experience in startup environments; candidates with only long-term experience in large organizations may not be the best fit
• Strong pragmatism and excellent communication skills
• Portfolio demonstrating user needs discovery and product organization case studies

Work Arrangement & Compensation

• Initial contract with flexible work hours (20+ hrs/week, ideally 4–5 days/week)
• Approximate monthly budget (part-time): $1,600 - $2,000.
• Potential to transition into a permanent full-time role after 3 months
• Budget for full-time: $3,200/month.
