Headquartered in Belgium, with over 26 subsidiaries across Europe, the US and Asia, our team of 800+ engineers services clients worldwide with innovative methods, advanced technologies, and impactful products. We’re proud of our track record: 25% annual growth, the title of “Company of the Year 2020” in Belgium, and a recognized leadership role in Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
About the role:
Are you a passionate Software Engineer with strong PHP skills, eager to make a real impact? We are developing our own in-house ERP system designed to support resource planning, scheduling, people development, and HR-related processes. This is not a standard off-the-shelf project — you’ll play a key role in shaping and building a tailor-made solution that directly supports our business operations and growth. If you enjoy working on meaningful projects, translating complex processes into smart software, and seeing your work used daily across the company, this role is for you.
Function
- As a PHP Developer, you will develop and maintain I-care’s internal scheduling application.
- You are responsible for the entire process, from analysis and development to testing and post-launch support.
- You ensure clear and practical documentation of the applications you build.
- You provide active user support by writing manuals and demonstrating strong engagement with each project.
- You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of OOP, Laravel, CI/CD, GitLab, and secure development!
Profile
- You have preferably earned at least a bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent knowledge through experience.
- You have strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL. Experience with the Laravel framework is a big advantage (the framework is used in our application).
- Experience with Composer, Git, GitLab, unit testing, and/or continuous integration is also an advantage.
- You are flexible, customer-oriented, and can work well in a dynamic, driven team.
- You have a creative work approach and an eye for detail.
- Relevant experience as a full stack developer, or in a similar role is a plus.
