🔎 What's In It For You
Join us as our next Business Intelligence Analyst, bridging Finance and Data to convert raw figures into actionable insights, owning the SQL + Python pipelines in Azure and Databricks that fuel our financial dashboards, billing engines, and senior management insights. You will work closely with finance analysts, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver data-driven insights and make data-informed decisions.
🐝 About The Team
You’ll join a team of 3 talented Data Analytics experts based in the Netherlands, within the Finance department. Each team member brings unique skills and perspectives, fostering a rich learning environment.
💻 Technology stack
- SQL, Power BI, Azure Cloud, Python, Databricks
- Build & enhance financial reporting: Design new dashboards, reports, and self-service datasets for P&L, cash-flow, and margin analysis
- Maintain operational calculations: Own monthly billing, revenue-recognition, and commission-calculation pipelines. Implement automated data-quality checks and reconciliation controls
- Data modeling & pipeline engineering:
- Develop medallion-architecture tables in Databricks (bronze/silver/gold)
- Stakeholder collaboration: Translate finance requirements into technical specs. Train finance analysts on new datasets and BI tools
- Continuous improvement & governance: Champion cost-optimization and FinOps best practices in Cloud platforms
- Work across several legal entities: harmonization of data models and reporting standards to present a single source of truth
- +3 years of hands-on experience writing advanced SQL, including window functions, common table expressions (CTEs), and performance tuning
- Proficiency in Python for data wrangling and automation
- Practical experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear technical requirements
- A proactive mindset with a strong bias for automation and thorough documentation
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with dbt (data build tool)
- Exposure to machine learning techniques for forecasting or anomaly detection
- Understanding of financial analytics and reporting
- A first call with one of our recruiters
