We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our core Engineering team to help us deliver our best-in-class solutions to our customers globally. DevOps Engineers work with the Customer Success and Implementation teams to maintain robust, and stable customer deployments. They are the first point of contact and are expected to provide technical support for our customer deployments.


As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing monitoring and alerting through Datadog and manage infrastructure through Terraform on AWS. You'll interact directly with our customers to provide technical and infrastructure support.


Responsibilities:

  • Initial investigation of technical support tickets and monitoring alerts
  • Setup and maintenance of automated monitoring through Datadog or AWS CloudWatch for our AWS-based customer deployments
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Implementation teams over customer calls to ensure customer needs are met
  • Ensuring our deployments adhere to our customer SLAs
  • Planning scheduled maintenance and upgrades with the DevOps Engineering team
  • Creation and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code resources using terraform and terragrunt
  • Assist the Customer Success team for customer technical issues


Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years in a DevOps or IT systems administrator role with 1+ years experience with AWS Cloud
  • 1+ years working with Kubernetes-based application management
  • Strong working knowledge of terraform in a production environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on AWS and Amazon Linux
  • Ability to understand and debug network policies and firewalls, specifically with DNS, SSL / TLS, TCP/IP, and AWS Security Groups
  • Understanding and implementation of CPU, Memory, and Storage monitoring
