Network Engineer

Location: Halberstadt, Germany

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months (extension possible)

Languages: German & English (fluent)

Scope of Work (SOW):

• Provide onsite support for incidents related to passive network infrastructure, LAN & WLAN.
• Act as remote hands for specialist teams during troubleshooting and analysis.
• Create, process, and track tickets via ITSM systems.
• Communicate effectively with end-users and coordinate with internal IT departments.
• Ensure proper documentation and smooth handover to next-level support.
• Escalate complex issues to specialized teams or service providers.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with passive networking and CAT6 cabling.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize onsite support cases.
• Valid lift platform (cherry picker) license (advantage).
• Must have own car and laptop for the role.
