Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join a hyper-growth enterprise headquartered in Dublin City Centre. Having achieved multi-billion turnover within a few short years, this organisation is embarking on its next phase of rapid international expansion.
As CISO, you will join the executive leadership team and be entrusted with building and leading a world-class global cyber security function, shaping the organisation’s security posture at board level and enabling its ambitious growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a global cyber security strategy aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
- Establish and lead a high-performing international security organisation, building capability and culture from the ground up.
- Serve as the principal advisor to the Board and C-suite on all cyber security, risk and compliance matters.
- Oversee enterprise security architecture, risk governance, and operational resilience across a rapidly evolving hybrid (cloud and on-premises) technology landscape.
- Embed security as a core business enabler, fostering enterprise-wide engagement and accountability.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a CISO or Head of Cyber Security in a fast-paced, high-growth enterprise or similarly complex environment.
- 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in cyber security, risk, or technology governance roles.
- Deep expertise in securing large-scale cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strategic mindset with strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success driving cultural change and organisational transformation in a dynamic business environment.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Dublin City Centre-based, permanent executive appointment
- €160,000 – €200,000 base salary (DOE)
- Executive package including share options, performance bonus (30%+), pension, and healthcare
