Position: Cloud Security Engineer

Parker Stewart have been engaged by a leading US Tech firm to support them in their search for a Cloud Security Engineer based in Dublin. This role will be hybrid and you must be based in Ireland with valid working rights to be applicable.

In this role you will be responsible for improving security posture across multi-cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and runtime environments.

Key duties:

• Design and implement automated security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP to protect infrastructure and sensitive data.
• Embed security policies and compliance guardrails (SOC 2, ISO 27001) into CI/CD pipelines for continuous assurance.
• Secure infrastructure, APIs, and workloads (containers, Kubernetes, serverless) throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Build advanced monitoring and alerting systems to detect, triage, and respond to security threats in real time

Experience required:

• Excellent experience in cloud security engineering or a similar role focused on safeguarding cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of at least two major cloud platforms (ideally GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming - Go, Python - to automate security controls and compliance checks.
• Background in securing cloud-native workloads, with familiarity with SOC 2/ISO 27001 requirements and blockchain security basics
• Hands-on experience securing cloud-native workloads e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
• Banking, FinTech, Blockchain/Crypto experience highly desirable
