Production Engineer
Edge Autonomy Riga is an international company with its main office in the USA, and we are part of the Redwire group. We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and integration of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electro-optical surveillance systems. Our products are widely used in defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors around the world. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving our production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities:
Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to streamline production processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Design and implement new production processes, including equipment selection and layout.
Industrialize new products.
Improve manufacturing processes to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Design Jigs and Fixtures required for production.
Prepare written instructions for production technicians.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is an advantage.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Production Process Engineer.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Experience working in ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good written and spoken Latvian and English language.
