Cloud Security Engineer

Information security is a cornerstone of our business - OWBoost adheres to stringent regulatory requirements of the financial industry, including several Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), the EU DORA and voluntarily complying with ISO 27001 and ISO 22301.

OWBoost is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer. You will be involved in maintaining OWBoost security with day-to-day activities and improving our security by implementing new features and tools.

You will work closely with CISO and other security team members to build and maintain security solutions as well as with the DevOps team to develop our Infrastructure as Code, driving security by design solutions.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in the cybersecurity field who is fast to adapt to ever-changing world and keeps developing their own technical skillset.

What will you do:

• Design and implement technical solutions and controls to secure OWBoost infrastructure
• Perform maintenance activities to keep solutions up and running
• Use and maintain security solutions like SIEM, PAM, Vulnerability management solutions, Identity management solutions, Secret management solutions, etc.
• Provide support for external audits with technical evidence
• Participate in internal audits, security reviews and penetration tests as required (on changes, regular assessments)
• Improve OWBoost reaction times by building automations, managing security systems as IaC
• Be part of internal SOC team. Review alerts of suspicious activities, perform log analysis. Help improve detections of suspicious activities by implementing new controls. Work on on-call incident response schedule with other team members.
• Stay current with industry trends, threats and evaluate new security technologies.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a junior-mid level engineer. Apply if you have some of the skills listed below and are willing to learn quickly, fill the gaps and improve:

• Interest in cybersecurity.
• Experience with some of DevOps Tools: Terraform, Ansible, GIT, CI/CD.
• Experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
• Experience working in cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS).
• Generic knowledge of networking.
• Experience in the payment card industry.
