About the Role
ITBM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Canadian Armed Forces. The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the effective delivery of services in accordance with the contract and will serve as the primary point of contact between the Contractor and the client.
The PM will be fully empowered to represent the Contractor in all operational and contractual matters, with the financial authority to commit resources to meet contractual requirements. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented leader with exceptional decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth service delivery, compliance with obligations, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Contractor’s primary representative in all operational and contractual matters
Ensure timely and effective delivery of services as specified in the contract
Exercise financial authority to allocate resources in line with contractual obligations
Collaborate with NSPA CO, Task Officers (TO), and Quality Managers (QM) to facilitate service delivery and resolve issues promptly
Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules, and quality standards
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted project delivery
Prepare and deliver regular reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability
Ensure compliance with NATO, NSPA, and contractual requirements, including security, safety, and confidentiality standards
Lead, coordinate, and mentor project staff to optimize performance and achieve project goals
Qualifications
Security Clearance: NATO SECRET (minimum)
Language Proficiency: English TOEIC 850+ (or equivalent)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Experience
Proven project management experience within defense, logistics, or government contracting environments
Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables
Strong expertise in financial management, contract administration, and resource allocation
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to analyze complex challenges and deliver practical, results-driven solutions
