As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, security, and performance of our company's IT environment. You will oversee cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and business systems to ensure reliability, compliance, and scalability. Your role will combine strategic planning with operational execution ensuring that our IT systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with our fast-growing defense technology operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business and security goals.
- Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity, including threat prevention, incident response, and continuous monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with TIS2 directive and relevant ISO standards for IT and cybersecurity.
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, networks, and business-critical systems.
- Oversee and improve corporate IT support services.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, security policies, and access control.
- Lead procurement, licensing, and maintenance of IT software and hardware.
- Oversee the configuration, improvement, and integration of business tools (e.g., Jira).
- Coordinate and manage relationships with outsourced IT and cybersecurity service providers.
- Establish IT governance, policies, and best practices to ensure operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT leadership or senior IT management roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity practices.
- Deep understanding of TIS2 directive and ISO standards for IT governance, security, and operations.
- Experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, and secure network design.
- Ability to oversee and improve IT service delivery and support processes.
- Strong vendor management and project coordination skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or other high-security industries.
- Familiarity with Jira administration and optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience managing outsourced IT and cybersecurity teams.
- Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and risk management.
