Requirements
Education & Experience:
— Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
— 4+ years of experience in a quantitative research or analyst role (financial institutions, hedge funds, prop trading, or asset management preferred).
Core Technical Skills:
— Strong foundation in probability, statistics, time-series analysis, and optimization.
— Experience with market data (order books, tick-level data) and trading data processing.
— Solid understanding of trading infrastructure and market microstructure; experience with DEX/CEX and derivatives trading is advantageous.
— Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application to financial problems.
— Experience with Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch).
— Experience with C++ for performance-critical systems is a plus
Quantitative & Trading Systems Knowledge:
— Experience in building algorithmic trading systems or financial applications
— Understanding of market microstructure and trading products (spot, futures, swaps)
— Strong ability to reason through quantitative problems and collaborate with researchers to implement models
— Familiarity with low-latency, high-frequency trading (HFT) systems is a plus
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to testing and quality assurance
— Track record of independently solving complex technical challenges with real industry impact
— Strong ability to debug, profile, and optimize performance in production systems
— Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes
Mindset & Soft Skills:
— Passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning
— Intellectual curiosity and a strong drive to grow within the quantitative finance industry
— Team player, with strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
— Reliable and predictable availability to ensure smooth operation of production trading systems
Responsibilities
— Strategy Development: Design, back-test, and implement quantitative trading strategies using statistical models, machine learning, and data-driven techniques.
— Signal Research: Analyze large-scale datasets (tick-level, order book, on-chain, macroeconomic data) to extract predictive signals and identify alpha opportunities.
— Risk Management: Contribute to building robust risk frameworks and parameter tuning processes.
— Execution & Integration: Work alongside developers to integrate models into low-latency trading systems and ensure agile deployment.
— Portfolio Analytics: Perform post-trade analysis, PnL attribution, and systematic portfolio optimization.
— Product Innovation: Participate in all stages of new product development - including concept generation, modeling, and real-time validation.
