Full-timeAnalyst, Information Technology

Your role

We may be part of a large banking Group, but we’re a small, tight-knit bank with a focused business model and a young team. For our Mortgage Feature team, we are looking for a Business Analyst with proven experience in delivering changes. As a Business Analyst you will gather and validate business needs on the Mortgage product and translate them into documented requirements for implementation.

Do you like to be in close cooperation with the business, suppliers and other stakeholders? Would you like to carry out impact assessments and perform process analyses to define and deliver solutions? Do read further!

A day in the life of a Business Analyst

  • After your morning coffee you sit with the team and discuss latest progress on the ongoing activities, exchanging insights and challenges. You facilitate a workshop with key stakeholders where you identify their needs and translate them into requirements.
  • You grab lunch with a group of colleagues from another team, where you learn about the latest developments from another product that may affect the way our processes and systems are used as well as their performance – something to bear in mind and discuss with the key stakeholders?
  • After lunch you get in touch with a colleague from the Legal and Compliance department you work with regularly on project governance, facing the challenge of integrating Compliancy requirements with the specifics of the local business. You then integrate the outcome in the solution document and analyze the impact and address this with relevant stakeholders.
  • Towards the end of your workday, you have your weekly 1-1 session with the Product Owner, where you discuss the results as well as new challenges which might lead into new or adjusted epics.

Which team will you be joining?

The Mortgage Feature Team is part of the NL Homes Lab, tasked to ensure the End-to-End change delivery within the Lab. We’re taking the guidance from the Lloyds Bank change process and translate that into local practices, applying a phased roll-out across our Dutch products. We do this by:

  • Collaborating with the business through elicitation sessions to ensure full understanding of business needs
  • Translating business needs into concrete user stories, elaborate on them within refinement sessions and manage them throughout their lifecycle
  • Carrying out assessments to facilitate the development and validate solutions
  • Delivering backlog items from creation and estimation until testing and implementation.
  • Supporting the Product Owner with managing the backlog and clarification of detailed requirements with input from stakeholders
  • Working closely with suppliers as well as colleagues in different locations
  • Participating in all relevant Scrum ceremonies such as the Planning sessions, Daily’s, Refinement sessions, Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to processes within Lloyds Bank GmbH and Lloyds Banking Group
